The Red Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw in Tanzania against Young Africans in Matchday 2 of the CAF Champions League group stage. 

Despite dropping two points in an exciting game, we still atop of the group with four points. 

Marcel Koller's men had the upper hand in the game and created many clear chances to score but our efforts missed the target. 

Only Percy Tau succeeded to find the back of the net with a perfect header after the ball rebounded from the goalkeeper to give us a late lead in the match. 

Tau، who played a key part in our journey to secure the title last season, opened his account in this campaign of the Champions League with this beautiful header. 

However, the home team's efforts to secure a point at home was successful after Pacôme Zouzoua's unstoppable strike found its way to Mohamed El Shenawy's target.

The game saw the return of our midfielder Amr El Soulia after being sidelined since our historic night in Casablanca last June when we secured our 11th CAF Champions League title.

Our Eagles will host CR Belouizdad on Friday night in Matchday 3 of the group stage in their last appearance ahead of participating in the FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia.
